: In the late afternoon, close to dusk, there were hundreds of robins flying from the southeast to the northwest near Sterling Road and I-75 in Davie. In addition, this morning I observed a flock of robins feeding on Dykes Road north of Sterling Road in Davie. Spring must be getting closer. Here in Coral Springs we had the same thing, hundreds of robins feeding on the Brazilian Pepper bushes around the lake in our back yard. We also had 15 cedar waxwings in our live oak tree. We haven't seen robins or waxwings in our yard since 1989 when we also had a very cold winter.
