There are several records of Bahama Mockingbirds in the Keys and one a few years ago at John U. Lloyd State Park along with a recent sighting at Evergreen Cemetery, all places that birders visit frequently. Most of the rest of the coast is condominiums, commercial, or not very birder friendly exclusive residential developments. Sighting records tell much more about the behavior and occurence of birders than they tell about behavior and occurrence of birds.
