Thanks, I saw some other great birds on my walk this morning. I will probably make the TAS trip on the 1st of March to The Southwest coast Florida bird trip, and Corkscrew Santuary walk.
I also have some friends who I visit a couple times a year in Golden Gate. They live 5 miles into the pine woods. That's where I saw my first bobwhites, red-headed woodpeckers, carolina wren and barred owls about 5 years ago when I was 9.
At Clam Pass Beach in Naples, thats where I saw my first willet, black-bellied plovers, turstones , semipalmated and wilsons plovers. I have seen alot of lifers around there. Much better birding around there than in Miami.
