Back in the medium recent past ... the early 90s I guess, I used to have Bobwhite running across the path from Tree Tops Park to Pine Island Ridge in Davie/Ft. Laud.
But then "they" started improving the site, never saw the Bobwhite again there ....
Sometimes just leaving well enough alone might be the best path :)
