Went down to Flamingo Tues evening and camped sans mos-quitos for a change. Walked the Bear Lake trail Wed morning and had slow going except for good views of a perched White Crowned Pigeon and then lucked into a Mangrove Cuckoo crossing the trail.

Just a couple of warblers until the last 200 yards or so before Bear Lake where I saw 11 species, including
Magnolia, Worm-eating, BT Green (a bright male), Oven-
bird, N. Waterthrush, Yellow-Throated, a pair of Red-
starts, and a Parula. On the way back I added BT Blue and saw a couple of more Ovenbirds, several more N. Waterthrushes and another Worm-eating.

Tried Snake Bight but it was slow in midafternoon and nothing new was added. At West Lake another Worm-eating
was seen and Ovenbird and another pair of Redstarts.

Failed to chase down a Pine warbler on my way out so I ended the day with 14 warbler species. I certainly share the view that we are seeing more warblers this winter.
