It is hard to see beautiful creatures that were made to fly to be caged or restricted. While doing the NAMC count at Miami Metro Zoo, I passed by the area where they have an Andean Condor. Standing in front of that massive looking bird knowing how huge and strong its wings must be, I was overwhelmed with the sense of sadness for this magnificent bird to not be able to fly freely and in the natural amount of territory it normally would have. All of God's creation is awesome and inspiring to watch from the smallest details to the amazing and often humorous behavior of the creatures around us.
