The Greater Flamingo continues to feed on the mud flat opposite the visitors center at Flamingo in Everglades National Park. It was seen at high tide at high noon in the company of White Pelicans, Double-crested Cormorants and Black Skimmers. The park staff statd that it has been feeding there the pastthree days. Kinda takes the fun out of hiking Snake Bight Trail and getting that heat vaporized view of a bird two miles out. Life is good............
