Yeah, please do not feed the jays. They do a great job on their own. One of the first rules of birdwatching, or wildlife watching is no feeding. Using food to attract these birds is not a good way to keep them around for your children and generations to come. We obsereved scrub jays feeding of the edges of the street on the way to the canaveral national seashore. To close to the street for comfort. We saw people throwing stuff out of their car, jays are looking for the junk that people are littering. They are a beautifull species, and is trully a Florida Resident that should be around for other generations to enjoy.
