Good afternoon,

I received a report yesterday of a potential Zenaida Dove at the west end of Marathon Airport. The description is pretty good but the observer is not willing to amke the call. The bird was on the ground near some "pooled water" and eventually flew off toward the mangroves at the "north" (= northeast?) end of the airport.

The bird was the size of a Mourning Dove but was darker and had a shorter tail. The white wing patch and white trailing edge in the tail were seen.

Best regards,
