The photos are great as usual. We have been out looking for the RCW but no luck. We just got back home from a trip to New Smyrna Bch. We visited Merrit Island on one day, and spent the next day at New Smyrna looking for Bald Eagles. Found a few nest but did not get any close looks at the eagles. Saw plenty of Osprey and Downy WP, it was nice to kick back and bird while we fished. Most of the islands were undeveloped and nature is thriving, it felt as we took a trip back in time. We were on a canoe going from one island to another. A friend headed us to and island that were once inhibited by a tribe of indians were you can still find pottery and other artifacts during low tide. At Merrit Island we saw a beutifull pair of brown thrashers, we found our targeted bird the Scrub Jays. They were great, we later saw two willet, and six common terns taking a break from the sun. Lots of Herons of all sorts, king birds were alowing us up close photos. On the way back down we stoped at Juno beach and found some more birds and Scrub jays, a gopher tortouois, and scrub lizards. All three Endagered spcies. We will post a list for the different locations we visited tommorow; need sleep... zzz..
