After corresponding today with Brian Ahern about Yellow-throated Vireos, I thought it a good idea to post where they have been seen lately. On Wednesday a bright one was seen/heard at the beginning of "Old Ingram Highway" in Royal Palm (ENP). This is the wide grassy path that cuts across the paved path. Also on Wednesday one was about midway along Snake Bight Trail. Another one was seen/heard on the CBC (12/18/02) at the 90º turn that starts Research Road. All three wintering vireos can be found in these locations. I believe Yellow-throated Vireos are also being seen other places. [Jill and Mickey -- Barnes or Kenwood?]

In ENP/Lucky Hammock I came upon 15 species of warblers on Wednesday, including Worm-eating (4), Cape May, Wilson's, Prothonotary (Thanks, Michael), Yellow-breasted Chat, Magnolia, Black-throated Green and Orange-crowned. Black-throated Blue was seen the previous day. The locations mentioned above are also good for wintering warblers.
