Maybe it's not a Hairy Woodpecker, but it's still cool to see a male Bronzed Cowbird at your feeder. This is only the second time I see this species in my yard, and I hope not the last. I haven't been outside since the infamous Hairy Woodpecker fiasco, and I only saw this one because I was bringing my car into the garage. I really should spend more time watching my yard.
