We did not see any other shrikes, they were at the entrance to the park. Birding this park is a nice place to relax and bird, anything from pealgics to song birds are present. The Marina park right next door is also a good spot to view purple martins. They are located at the bait & Tackle shop parking lot, there is one house in the grass at the entrance to the parking. Fishing is also another reason I visit so often. Look for waders in the saltwater pool located at the east side of park. We rarely see any other birders there, hope to see some in the future. We need more people who care about nature in Miami, wildlife is a vital part of the city's role in the future.
