By the way, when I was last there on January 2nd, I saw a whole bunch of small birds in the reeds at eco pond. They were grayish or brown. It was hard to make out, but they were not catbirds and were very active. They moved arond making a CHINK sound and responded to my pshhing calls. =
Sounds like they were probable Swamp Sparrows!
