There is very little shorebird areas left in Broward. I suggest John Lloyd State Park in Dania at the very end along the rocks and beach near the cut to the port. Close by is West Lake Park on SHeridan Street just west of the intracoastal. The north part of the park Anne Kolb on a low tide has a mud flat at the end of the trail check there. Or go to the south part of the park along the rocky area on the west side of the lake. Unfortunately one of the last shorebird areas in Broward is being invaded by cattails, but try there anyway.
The best place for shorebirds right now is Cutler Wetlands in south Dade. That is where I would go. Check the archives for exact directions. possibly white-rumped Sandpiper, Dowithchers, etc..
Good Luck Birding
