Went to do some birding to pass some time before prom. There were still a lot of birds around my yard (Yellow-billed Cuckoo and seven warbler species), so I figured it would be worth it to look for Mourning Warbler at Enchnated Forest or Arch Creek.
I did not find a Mourning, but I did find another Connecticut in the northeast side of the park. Here is the list:
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Northern Parula ~5
Cape May Warbler 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler ~15
Blackpoll Warbler ~20
Black-and-white Warbler 3
American Redstart ~25
Common Yellowthroat ~40
Connecticut Warbler 1, around the "Butterfly Garden"
Northern Waterthrush 6
Ovenbird ~15
I also grabbed an Everglades Racer in the northeastern section of the park.
