I stalked birders, er, birds this morning at Sadowski too.
Thought that perhaps I saw a Connecticut but those darned masters of distraction the common yellow throats were everywhere too.
Also added a white crowned pigeon chasing the Cedarwaxwings,a yellow billed cuckoo and many ovenbirds and that thrush sp. to the list of what has been reported.
Also stopped at Cutler wetlands to find that there is a massive cleanup in progress!
The burma grass or whatever it is, has been cut down all across the north side.
The resident black necked stilts, millions of ibis', dozen or so white pelicans and few shorebirds weren't entirely pleased.But it should be good for us birders.
