Hello. After a good day birding at Bill Baggs yesterday we couldn't resist to get a quick look at the end of my job parking lot lake we sometimes bird in Doral.
We have seen other migrants on a lucky day in this spot.
The lake has some Bamboo trees and Gumbo Limbo.
We stayed for about 20 minutes from 9:30 to 9:50 am.
We saw:
1 Ovenbird
4 Blackpoll Warbler (male)
1 Common Yellowthroat (male)
1 Northern Parula
1 Connecticut Warbler
7 Boat Tailed Grackle
Not bad for a quick stop.
Hope others have more time to bird today then we did.
