Hello. Thanks to the postings here we headed out to Bill Baggs yesterday late afternoon from 6:40pm to 8pm.
As we were walking up the hill at the beginning of the nature trail (close to the restaurant)we spotted about a group of Bobolinks foraging on the ground both male & female.
Then just pass the hill we saw 2 dozen Blackpoll Warblers and a couple of Connecticut Warblers.
We were pleased to see other birders on the trail. It was nice to meet birders we spoke to a man named Rafael and another gentleman he was with searching to photograph the Connecticut.

Here is a list of birds we saw:

15 Bobolink (first time ever!)
25 Blackpoll Warbler
4 Connecticut Warbler (they are fast)
1 Ovenbird
7 American Redstart
2 Northern Waterthrush
7 Cardinal (male & female)
2 Common Yellowthroat (male)
2 Common Nighthawk
(right before it got real dark as we were leaving)

We LOVE Spring Migration!!
We are going to have to go back this week maybe tomorrow to catch a glimpse at the Bahama Mockingbird!
Wish us luck. Good luck birding to all!
