The Bahama Mockingbird was seen at 1:30 PM today (5/7). It flew from Larry's tape across the trail to the Sea Grape tangle. It remained ~7 feet off the ground and was seen well. Thanks to Walter and Sue! A great find and first for the park since 1994.
After entering the park (fee), continue on the main road until you are at the farthest southwest corner of Area C. The Nature Trail entrance is ~5 yards south of there, on west side. Numerous Blackpolls arrived during the afternoon.
