Ah Toe,
There is a great pub near Birmingham (England), not Alabama. With Redhank, Greenshank, maybe Wood and Green sandpiper in the swamp behind the pub. Its called the "Tringa" Pub. Grab Paul Bithorn and lets go?? A few pints and birds . What a migration!!! I guess migration is slowing in Florida. I awoke today with singing Wood Thrush ( great songster) and signing Veery ( what a song...belongs in a cheap movie), Yeah, back in New England waiting for warbler song.
