Highlights at Birch were black-whiskered vireo, worm-eating, blackpoll and cape may warblers, and a single baltimore oriole. Barnes had the same warblers plus black and white, black-throated blue, a. redstart, palm, y.rumped, common yellowthroat, n. waterthrush, and a yellow-billed cuckoo. I also made a stop at Crandon beach north yesterday. The end of fossil reef trail in Bear Cut had 30 black-bellied plovers, half of which were in breeding plumage which was neat to see.
