Tried out my new binoculars yesterday which I got for my birthday (Bushnell 10x50). At the potter's fields adjacent to Kendall Indian Hammocks Park saw a tree with at least 100 Cedar Waxwings. Some were swallowing berries whole. The only other time I have seen these birds was a few years ago in the same area. They were quite tame and allowed close approach. Didn't see much else except for some Purple Martins.
