Drive-by birding Hobie Beach 4/26

A quick drive around Hobie Beach this morning found above-average numbers of several species of shorebirds, including Semipalmated and Western Sandpipers, and lots of Ruddy Turnstones and Semipalmated Plovers. There was also a late Red-breasted Merganser feeding close to shore on the north side of the causeway.

Also, on the way back to the office, I had my FOTS Gray Kingbird at Coral Way & 22nd Ave.
