Or, I should have been at the Dry Tortugas on Thursday when my friend Webb Tallied 26 warbler species, all the thrushes, Black Noddy, Short-eared Owl, AND BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO. Not only did he see Cerulean and Blue-winged, but also a Brewster's. In 05, he saw the even rarer Lawrence's. Bottom line, in Spring, you want to be anywhere but here, the toilet bowl of Spring migration. Congrats to all who went to Ft. D, Tortugas, or anywhere else where the birds were. I think I have an hour tomorrow to go to Matheson and look for a Catbird.
