Three birders joined me for the spring migration walk through one of North Dade's best migrant traps. A couple birds were even singing for us. Here is a list of the birds we found in about an hour and a half:
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Great-crested Flycatcher- two nest building
Blue-headed Vireo-
Red-eyed Vireo
House Wren- singing
Cedar Waxwing
Northern Parula- singing
Cape May Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Scarlet Tanager- nice male
Summer Tanager- male looking good
Rose-breasted Grosbeak- three males, with one singing
Painted Bunting- male
Indigo Bunting- two males

I was there yesterday, and there were a few less birds. I did have Ovenbird, though.
