Biscayne National Park is in the process of setting up a bi-weekly bird survey. We are looking to establish trends in migration and get a feel for what birds are utilizing areas of the parks especially the keys. Presently I am trying to gauge the availability of possible volunteers to help participate. The work would be spending 30- 45 minutes at three or four locations within the Park. The surveys will be conducted from roughly 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on a weekday (Monday- Thursday). I would need two or three volunteers to accompany me to various areas. I will provide transportation via Park Service boat. Any takers on volunteering or thought on this are greatly appreciated.
