For the benefit of non-floridian birders like myself, please tell me where your "Vizcaya" site is. I'm heading to FL soon, and would like a look at your hooded warbler!
: Bad news first: The possible black-chinned, after a long, sunsplashed look on Sunday is definitely a ruby-throated (thanks Robin Diaz for the extra field marks). The good news is that nearby Vizcaya has lots of cool wintering birds. The flock I found there has a beautiful male hooded warbler, a female summer tanager, miss redstart, along with prairie, some myrtles and ovenbird. Two seperate winters I've seen worm-eating, but not yet this year. Who knows? FRANK
