Unfortunately, many birds and other wildlife are injured and in need of rehab for a chance to survive. There are 3 places that come to mind. Carrying these phone numbers when in the field could be beneficial.
(305) 852-4486 is the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center, 93600 Overseas Highway, Tavernier.
(954) 524-4302 for the Wildlife Care Center, 3200 S.W. 4th Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale.
(305) 646-4244 is a direct number to the Museum of Science in Miami; ask for Mike Perez or Carlos Pages.
