As Mike Baranski mentioned earlier: he left at 10 AM, I left at 11 AM, and Trey took the next shift. From 7 AM on there were scores of birders patrolling the area, some familiar faces, some new. Trey called me a little while ago...the BAMO was a no-show. I believe he left a birder or two in charge of the next shift. I'll keep my fingers crossed. It was really nice to see the spindalis though, from every angle. It was even nicer to make new aqcuaintances as well as catch up with old ones (not that I would call those acquaintances "old").
