Today in gorgeous weather, 30+ participants gathered for a 3-hour walk along Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP trails. We had 54 species including a few lingering wintering birds. Mainly we noted migrants, some of them FOS (first of season).

Highlights:

Magnificent Frigatebird
Northern Harrier
Broad-winged Hawk
Short-tailed Hawk
Merlin (2)
Peregrine Falcon
Great Black-backed Gull (Seaquarium)
Sandwich Tern
Chimney Swift
hummer sp.
Brown-crested Flycatcher (seen by Paul and several others near south end of Pond Trail)
Eastern Kingbird
White-eyed, Blue-headed and Red-eyed Vireo
Barn and Northern Rough-winged Swallow
10 warbler species, including Northern Parula, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-throated, Prairie (buckets) and Blackpoll

Thanks very much to all participants! Please add to list if I forgot something. Join TAS next week at Matheson Hammock and A.D. Barnes.
