My birding on Key Largo and Plantation Key today brought much the same result, though I'm not sure I would call it a "little fallout" up here. There were birds everywhere, unfortunately just about all of them happened to be Palm Warblers. In addition to several hundred Palms I noted:
N. Parula: 10 or so
Am Redstart: 2
Cape May: 2
Yellow-rumped: 1
Black-throated Green: 1
Prairie: 50 or so
Black-and-white: 3
Prothonotary: 2, male and female acting like a pair, something I've never seen in migration
Common Yellowthroat: 2
Tree Swallow: 10
Barn Swallow: 5
Martin: 5
Merlin: 1
Eastern Kingbird: 3
Indigo Bunting: 2
White-crowned Pigeon: 20 or so seemed to be more prevalent than in preceding days
Least Tern: the first I've heard from my yard this spring, I saw my first in the bay on Wed.
Let's see what tomorrow brings!
