One Definite Migrant

A short walk through the Audubon neighborhood in Tavernier again produced good numbers of birds, but all that could have been here all winter, except for one. Unfortunately it was deceased, squashed flat in the road, a SORA. As it was a rather long ways from any suitable Sora habitat, I'm quite convinced that this was indeed a migrant.
Other interesting sightings included:
3 Blue-headed Vireos in one binocular view, at least one of which was singing

A Great Crested Flycatcher missing half of its upper bill, but appearing otherwise healthy

Osprey and Red-shouldered Hawks competing for airspace in which to conduct courtship flights while Prairie Warblers and Parulas squeaked out half-hearted songs

Hoping north winds this weekend bring us some more migrants,
