Migration over Florida

Hey SOFLA birders. I just wanted to give a heads up that there was clearly an influx of birds into Southeast Florida evident on the radar this morning. The movement was small, but much of it appeared to originate over Cuba last night. It's impossible to say where best to go birding based on the radar alone, since there was no weather to "ground" the birds- but ditching work to check out the "tried-and-true" migrant traps (AD Barnes, the Annex at LH, etc.) might not be such a bad idea. Then again, it might be too small to detect on the ground, but what the heck- Birding this time of year is like pizza; even if it's bad, it's still pretty good.

Good Birding

David
