Migrants (or not)

There was quite a bit of activity around the Audubon office in Tavernier today. Species seen include:
NASHVILLE WARBLER (a female which I assume wintered locally)
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER
NORTHERN PARULA
BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER
PRAIRIE WARBLERS
PALM WARBLERS
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS
AMERICAN REDSTART
BLUE-HEADED VIREO
BALTIMORE ORIOLE
All of these could have been wintering birds, but with all of the activity (and several of them singing) it sure FELT like migration. Hopefully north winds by this weekend will drop some birds on us.
