On yesterday's Kendall CBC we saw 5 Lark Sparrows at Larry and Penny Thompson Park. The sparrows were feeding in the grass underneath some trees, and flew up into the trees as we approached. The sparrows have been present since at least the 11th.
They are located in the area near shelters 2 and 4. Look under the trees both near the playground area, and across the grassy area. Both times I've seen them they've been at the lake end of the open grassy area.
The park entrances are on Eureka Dr (SW 184th St.), between SW 127th and 137th Ave.
