Thanks to a sharp-eyed fellow birder, saw 2 perched in the marsh just to the north of the center. One later took off and flew to the west (towards Loxahatchee), giving a beautiful view of the tail and white spot on the rear. I tried for pix, but they were not exactly close by ;)

And yes, the Eared Grebe is still hanging out, along with a smattering of warblers (Palm, Prairie, Yellow-rumped) and a few White-eyed Vireos and Painted Buntings.
