Echoing Toe's post, the last 2 mornings at Barnes have been practically devoid of birds. Last week I had 7 species of warblers, the past 2 mornings I've had two--that's species and individuals! One BT Green, one Yellow-rumped.
The only bird of any note was the wintering Hermit Thrush, which continues in the boardwalk vicinity. A flock of waxwings was there yesterday.
