Spent Sunday photographing birds at Corkscrew Sanctuary. We saw American Redstart, several goldfinches, a yellowthroat warbler, 2 pairs of red shouldered hawks and 9 yellow-capped night herons (one lady reported seeing 13) in addition to the usaual herons, woodpeckers, etc. Just before we arrived at Corkscrew we saw hundreds of tree swallows diving for wax myrtle berries. It was a delight to watch them dive, rise, dive and rise. It was a successful day rewarded with one of the nicest sunsets this season.
