While birding in the Long Pine Key picnic area last Sunday on a trip from Indiana, I saw a Swainson's Thrush in addition to several Eastern Bluebirds. Thought it might be a bit early for the Swainson's, but it was definitely not a Hermit.

Monday early a.m. tried for the Seaside Sparrows along Mahogany Hammock road with no luck.

Found a White-crowned Pigeon (my only one) along Snake Bight.

Also, thanks to Brian Rapoza and other TAS folks for the fantastic trip to the Three Lakes area.

Oh, and thanks to the Loggerhead Kingbird for showing up while I was in the neighborhood. Great looks for 10-15 minutes last Tuesday p.m. Plus three Mag. Frigates along the keys (a trip highlight for me).

One last thing, I should mention that while I was staying at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve, a White-tailed Kite was reliable about 1/4 mile southwest of the 90 degree turn in the park road...frequently perched in snags in a brush clump.
