Yes, the Nashville at A.D. Barnes. This afternoon it was very near the same spot where Bill saw it this morning. I checked the area when I first got there, but nothing but Yellow-rumpeds. I then searched the entire park, finding plenty of good birds. No, wait, I found plenty of YELLOW-RUMPEDS! I did find a very cooperative Hermit Thrush in the hamnock. Of course it was, I wasn't looking for it!

After coming out the opposite end of the nature trail, I was beginning to lose hope. The other 11 times I've searched for this bird I was still in good spirits. I searched the area near the playground, the pond, and the pool, and still now Nashville. I did find a Yellow-rumped. I mean a bunch of Yellow-rumpeds. I walked past my car, which had been parked in the parking spot adjacent to the pond, but has somehow been moved by a bunch of Yellow-rumpeds!!!!! While trying to find where they put it, I walked by the area where Bill saw the bird this morning. There was nothing there, but I heard some activity at the entrance to Homeless Hammock. I walked to the area where there are 3 picnic benches together, and there, right above me, was a beautiful, male Nashville Warbler!! What Kingbird? To me, this was my bird of the week. The Kingbird was great, but come on, that's one easy bird. This bird, however, has eluded me all winter. I guess it's true what they say: "Twelfth time's a charm."

If anyone is interested, I have a slightly used tent and some flashlights for sale.
