The exotic Purple Swamphen ( Porphyrio porphyrio) is now in residence at Wakodahatchee. This bird is now as habituated as the other residents and quite the colorful picture.
The Great Blue heron is still on the egss at the first pavillion nest site.
And at Loxahatchee, the Great Horned owl is also still sitting on egg (eggs).
