Shameless bragging about my "balcony birds" continues. One scan at ~2PM produced a single, then a slug of 12 (!) Parasitic Jaegers, then 2 more. The other scan at 4:50 had a group of 13 Parasitics performing acrobatics as they flew south.

Both groups were picked up near Government Cut, so perhaps the same group is working the area. A jaeger sp. landed on the largest structural marker for Government Cut and joined 6-7 birds of similar size and coloration.

Also of interest: Northern Gannets fewer in number, but still close; a flock of 4 Red-breasted Mergansers; 2 (possible) scaup sp. flying south; adult male frigatebird. A Peregrine Falcon flew along the beach.
