Rufous Hummingbird is much more likely, with many records throughout the Florida mainland. There are a few records of Allen's Hummingbird in Florida, but all from the northern part of the state.

Immature and adult female Rufous and Allen's Hummingbirds are virtually indistinguishable in the field. One would need to get close-up photos of the tail, or capture the bird (which can only be done by a federally-authorized hummingbird bander.)
