WooHoo!!!
Went to Royal Palm today and while looking at specks in the sky for short tail hawks, I caught a flash of white belly and then a bank and a black back and then, be still my heart, a glorious forked tail.
My first Swallow tail Kite of the year.
It was waaay up and I lost it pretty quickly, but at least they are starting to show up here. Can moss gathering be far behind?
