FOTS Swallow-tailed Kite -- Hendry County 02/17/2007

I just wanted to post that several of us saw our FOTS Swallow-tailed Kite today along CR833 north of the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation in Hendry County. We saw it on our trip back to Naples from another fantastic day of birding at STA-5. Watch for a full report soon. Anyway, I just wanted to alert folks to the fact that "they're back" even though I know someone posted seeing one about a week ago somewhere further up in the peninsula. . . .
