I was at Evergeen cemetary today hoping to find the Spindalis. It made an appearance at 12:45, too bad I got there at 1:00. I did see a bird, however that I need confirmation on. At first glance, I thought it was an Ovenbird foraging on the ground. I then noticed that it was a thrush, with a very distinguished red tail with dark heavy streaking on the chest. I am thinking that this is a Hermit Thrush. Has anyone else seen this bird? Could it possibly be something else? Any help, as always, is greatley appreciated.
