yellow rump invasion?

I am noticing alot of other people are seeing tons of these little guys. I have noticed a great increase in my neighborhood in the last week, I hear their "chip chip" all day and everywhere.

They also seem to like the hummer feeders, but I understand that they do like sap.

Any one else out there have a yellow rump "invasion?"
