I'm really disappointed with the photo I took yesterday, but here are a few.
It was a fun day birding in an area I hadn't birded before. We also met a lot of people who we know from online, but now we have faces to go with the words. I was great meeting you all!
The Hammond's photo doesn't do the bird justice. It doesn't show the color and detail we were able to see through binoculars. The bird has long primary extensions, white eye ring, more grey than green with hints of a rusty brown mixed in, very small bill that is mostly dark, black legs and we never heard it call while under observation.
