If a painted bunting is high on your list of birds you'd like to see, the feeder behind the nature center at Okeeheelee is a virtually guaranteed place to see them. You have to be patient though; they come to the feeder several times per hour, and the females usually appear first followed a minute or so later by a male who is more cautious.
